NEW YORK, Dec. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Hunt Companies Finance Trust, Inc. (NYSE: HCFT) (“we”, “HCFT” or “the Company”) today announced the declaration of a one-time special cash dividend of $0.04 per share of common stock due to real estate investment trust tax considerations. This distribution is payable on January 15, 2021 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on December 31, 2020. Combined with the Company’s previously declared $0.09 per share regular dividend for Q4 2020, shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 31, 2020 will receive a total distribution of $0.13 per share of common stock.
HCFT is a Maryland corporation focused on investing in, financing and managing a portfolio of commercial real estate debt investments. The Company primarily invests in transitional floating rate commercial mortgage loans with an emphasis on middle-market multi-family assets.

The Company previously announced that it will change its name to Lument Finance Trust, Inc., effective December 28, 2020.
